Why Is It So Important To Have Good Dental Care?
Dental Care is very important because your gums and your teeth
are directly connected to your blood stream. Infection
there will travel throughout your blood vessels and
create all kind of problems for you. Dental Care - First line of protection for good health.
Early this year, a 12 year old boy made the Headline of many
newspaper:
"TOOTHACHE LEAD TO BOY'S DEATH"
A 12 year old Maryland boy died February 25, 2007 because of
a Dental Infection. Apparently, Dental Services was not available
at that time for the boy. The infection began with an abscessed tooth and spread to his brain. He had brain surgery, however, he could not be saved.
That sad event tells you how important prevention is!
Experts tell us that, unhealthy bacteria-filled mouth, can also lead to a host of problems throughout the body, such as Heart Disease,
Diabetes, Blood Infection and even Low Birth-weight in babies.
Bacteria from the mouth flows into the circulatory system, and
travels to other parts of the body causing widespread inflammation.
If you have a valve problem within your heart, the bacteria can
invade and infect your heart.
Having a regular visit to your Dentist can prevent all
kinds of trouble for you and your family. Check-ups can provide
early detection of oral problems, and treatment that can prevent further damage.
